An expert networking trainer will lead the participants through the techniques learnt to create a personalised strategy for future networking and network management. Our workshops are practical, interactive and strategy based to ensure behavioural change is achieved.

  • Build relevant skills to present self and the organisation more professionally
  • Learn why elevator pitches don’t work and walk away with what does!
  • Start and lead memorable conversations to be comfortable and charismatic when networking
  • Know how to leave a conversation without offending anyone
  • Build trust by discovering how to remember the names of people you meet
  • Learn the art to the perfect business handshake
  • Master the business card exchange (it's not what you read in networking books)
  • Decipher the unwritten rules of seated and standing networking and social etiquette
  • Ask and capture critical information for future connections
  • ... and make networking work for you! 
  • Improve, maintain, and manage ongoing relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Employ effective communication skills and techniques in relationships to build trust and respect.
  • Adapt communication methods by learning the 4 brain types to meet your networks preferred communication and gender style
  • Understand principles and impact of effective communication in relation to listening, questioning, verbal and non verbal communication
  • Implement Emotional Intelligence strategies to get to know yourself and others better
  • Increase influence and effectiveness of your business relationships (and build self confidence)
  • Understand the impact of physiology and tonality as it affects the outcome of two way shared understanding

Outcomes:

Julia Palmer is a respected Networking Strategist and best known for leading the face to face revolution!

Julia has dedicated her career to educate business people on the importance of developing strategies to create and manage viable internal and external business relationships. She has forged her own approach to this critical area of business and developed “NRM – Network Relationship Management” and “Netships - Networking relationships”, which she presents passionately on.

Julia is the Chief Executive of the Business Networking Academy, Channel 7 Kochie’s Business Builders Networking Expert, preferred networking trainer to many leading organisations and professional associations and an invited representative of the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) Business Intelligence Board.
